Notifications
GrantFlow can notify you about important events like approvals, denials, activations, expirations, and connector issues.
Channels
Notifications may be delivered by email, Microsoft Teams, or in‑app banners depending on your organization’s configuration.
For requesters
You’ll typically be notified when:
- Your request is approved or denied
- Your activation starts or expires
- An extension is approved or denied
For approvers
You may receive alerts for:
- New requests assigned to you or your group
- Escalations when requests are waiting too long
- Reminders for pending approvals
For administrators
Administrators receive system notifications about infrastructure health and operational events:
- Agent connectivity changes (online / offline)
- Agent certificate expiry warnings
- Agent version update reminders (when an agent is running an outdated version)
- Directory sync results (success or failure)
- Account password rollovers
- Generic system alerts (maintenance, announcements)
These are delivered to the system recipients configured in Admin > Notification Configuration. If you are an admin and don't receive these alerts, ask your tenant administrator to add your email address to the system recipients list.
Manage noise
If your team receives too many notifications, coordinate with your administrator to tune policies and channels. Keep in‑app notifications enabled so you don’t miss critical updates.
